We know many kinds of genre in English, and one of the most popular genres is descriptive text, because we often find it in the common text that we usually read about describing something (my mother, my bedroom, my cat, etc).
The social function of descriptive text is to describe a particular person, place or thing.
Generic structure of descriptive:

Example:

Mr. Budi is my English teacher. He is very kind and smart. A lot of people also say that he is handsome. he has a pointed nose, a white skin, a good eyes. Beside that, his body size is really perfect. He likes jogging in the morning, so he has a very good body.
He’s not only smart and handsome, but also very kind. He always greets us every morning when we meet at school, at canteen, in the library, etc. I like him so much, and I have a dream to be a good English teacher like him in the future.
